Mom & Dad

The Conductor’s parents. Early-to-mid thirties, warm, unhurried, easy with each other.

A new cold-open for Airside D.
The client brief asks for a new, emotionally-driven cold-open of :15–:30 ahead of the Airside D promo, then a seamless transition into the existing produced video. Ours runs about :29, inside that window. We build only the new open; the rest of the film stays as-is.
Leads with AI-rendered planes and an uncanny CG child before any real Tampa imagery. No emotional hook, no sense of place.
One human idea: a child and a seed. It earns the architecture and construction story that follows.
The Conductor is a child. She lets a single seed go where Airside D will stand. It takes root, and the terminal grows up around her the way the land grows: out of Tampa’s springs, its water, its light. She conducts every part of it.
Urban darkness → wonder → taking root → awe → serenity, mirroring TPA's vision for The Oasis. The seed is the creative vision; the terminal is what it grows into.

A young Black girl, eight years old. A round, soft-featured child's face, warm deep-brown skin, a pair of shallow dimples and a barely-there gap between her front teeth. Her hair is worn up in a neat braided high bun: cared for, but not perfect. Current reference design. She holds a single seed · and as it takes root, she conducts the new Airside D up out of the ground around her.

They gather around the seed in the pre-dawn dark, then spread through the terminal it becomes. Real ages, real bodies, cast against Tampa's actual mix. Empty-nesters and both solo travelers appear in the film.

ARRI Alexa 35 + Cooke S8/i. Warm, airy, creamy round bokeh, soft roll-off.
Golden volumetric backlight. The build is driven by natural light, from pre-dawn to golden sun.
Widescreen. Composed for the full frame; the cut into the film is handled in the edit.

Real terminal
Our key art
Full black. The city at its loudest: traffic, horns, overlapping voices. The world hasn’t begun.
City noise · no music yetThe seed takes root and the terminal grows. A root becomes the foundation, trunks thicken into the columns, branches arch into the roof ribs, and as the canopy's leaves unfurl they become the clerestory glass. Nothing assembles: bark, leaf, moss and vine stay green in every step, lit by natural light from pre-dawn to golden sun. Take root, spread, rise, branch, canopy, thrive. Scrub or play the progression.
Wides, closes, POVs, and reverses per beat, plus a mixed-age "Gathering" for a community-awakening feel.
